The Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life begins with the Survivors’ Victory Lap. Cancer survivors lead the way around the track to celebrate life. This inaugural lap gives hope and inspiration to those who are still battling cancer and to everyone who has been affected by this disease. At your local Relay For Life event, you’ll feel inspired by the courage of cancer survivors and by their commitment to make cancer history.

Light up the night and remember
Luminaries are candles that are placed in special bags that honour those lost to and  touched by cancer. After being lit during a twilight ceremony, luminaries provide light and inspiration to participants. Luminaries can be purchased before or at the event.
